Bernardo Rodriguez

Pastor Bernardo Rodriguez, together with his wife, Millie Rodriguez of 37 years, is the founding pastor of La Senda Antigua Christian Church. He was born again in 1961, when he was 13 years old and obeyed the call of God to teach His word at 24. His wife Millie was born again in 1972 and has been a faithful helpmeet in the church during the last 30 years.

The history behind LSACC began in New York City where pastor Bernardo began his walk with the Lord in a church in by the name of Christ In the Antilles. His pastor, Manuel Martinez, taught him the Word of God and there pastor Rodriguez served as a church deacon for several years. Here he received a zeal and fervor for serving the Lord. During this time he received the call to go to Los Angeles, California. He was sent out with the blessing of his pastor and church elders to be a missionary in LA.

That is how La Senda Antigua Church began in 1978. Working in the inner city , Bro. Bernardo had a burden and a question: “Lord, why do we lose our young people to the influences of the world?” God’s answer came in the founding of La Senda Antigua Christian School in 1994, where for 13 years the vision has been to rescue our youth from the influence of this world that comes through worldly teachers and a corrupt public school system.

Pastor Bernardo has always had a heart for missions and has founded churches in Ambato , Ecuador, and Tijuana, Tecate. He has preached the Word of God in Central and South America
