La Senda Antigua Christian School:

In order to provide a better service not only for members but for nonmembers alike, the church opened a school in 1995 to teach children in a safe, friendly environment where they can learn the important curricular subjects taught in general education - such as English, Math, Science, Christian Scriptures and worship services.

Public schools have become a breeding ground for violence, drug use, among other things. Liberal instructors impose their agenda in their classrooms taking advantage of the young minds and turning them over to their cause. La Senda Antigua Christian School cares about the instruction the children receive and is committed to provide your child with the proper and necessary academic instruction.

The school continues to improve the environment for the students to be able to be active during breaks. Sports such as basketball and volleyball are the norm and the school recently made available more sport games for the students. A new playground is in the works and will open in preparation for the next school year.

La Senda Antigua Christian School is now in it's first month of the school year so we are thrilled to start a new year.

La Senda Antigua Christian School incorporates the A Beka Book program to instruct students from Kindergarten to 12th grade. The A Beka program provides the students an unbiased perspective of history - not the written and omitted history presented at public school today. Their mathematics program covers the important theories students need to know and explained in their understandable text books. According to A Beka Book, "Science is the study of God's order, provision and reasonableness as revealed in His physical creation." Their science program is built around this principle and presents Intelligent Design teachings along with the theory of Evolution. Their English courses focus on grammar and composition, spelling, vocabulary and literature, teaching the learning student the proper manner in which to structure sentences and proper speech techniques. Most Importantly, the A Beka program includes the most important topic and foundation of a Christian School: Bible courses. The Bible courses teach students Christian history and encourage students to read the Bible by memorizing verses and singing hymnals.

Apart from the A Beka Book program, the school opens with prayer before instructional sessions. The school gathers for chapel services once a week, this way the student also grows in spirit.
